Inevitability
by Scribe Diva Ink
Whether you knew it or not, whether self-aware or not, you tried—to take advantage of me, to exploit my innocence, to break my spirit, to subvert my thinking, to isolate me from life while suffocating my destiny, to prescribe my worth by puppeteering my value.
You used naivety against me. Being good natured was used against me. Being genuine was used against me. Benevolence. It was used against me. You garbled me into your own gratifications, selfish necessities, reasons, and yearnings.
You tried, but you didn’t.
I am the definition of authentic. The soundness of my identity is threaded throughout my DNA so the truth of who I am cannot be unwound. It is impossible to hollow the breadth of who I am or discount the value of my offerings. It is ludicrous to try.
I am spiritually protected. The Source of All Things runs through my purpose, reaching towards realms you cannot fathom. My summon to take up space outlive your attempts to pulverize my gifts. Gifts bequeathed at conception. Inscribed in my mitochondria. Conducted by forces invisible to your imagination.
You tried, but you couldn’t.
Inevitability reclaimed my agency by erupting life in my direction, by reflecting the still pools of misuse, abuse, and manipulation.
Inevitability released me from the center of your trespasses. Only the indelible truth of your character remains.
Inevitability oriented my vision by grounding my conclusions, by demystifying my awareness.
Your iniquities, though a temporary hindrance, are unforgivable.
Inevitability is inevitable.
I’ve always been but now I am manifest.
I. SEE. YOU.
You tried.
But you didn’t.
You couldn’t.
And you won’t.
